Project description
The group, which traveled to Malawi in October 2007, included seven educators (three women and four men) as well as twelve students.
The traveling workschool was in Makonjeni in 2005, where it built an education center and a school with two classrooms. In 2007, an additional school building, housing another classroom and a teachers′ office, was constructed.
The young people worked with local people and became familiar with various construction tasks.
The goal of such a project is better understanding and communication between the two cultures.
