Children′s and young people′s program of the German federal government
KJP – the children′s and young people′s program of the German federal government and equivalent programs on the state level sponsor international youth work. See the website of the Federal Ministry for further information (in German).

Youth in Action programme
Information on European Union funding for youth exchanges can be found at Youth in Action. The EU has a preference for multilateral meetings, although binational programs are also possible.

Comenius
Comenius (the EU program for schools) also funds mostly multilateral school exchange programs (with visits in both directions). Occasionally bilateral school partnerships with Turkey are also sponsored in conjunction with "foreign language" projects. Applications and guidelines for applicants can be found on the website of the German Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs (in German).

Schulen: Partner der Zukunft (Schools: Partners for the Future)
The initiative Schulen: Partner der Zukunft of the German Foreign Office offers small grants for bilateral school partnerships with Turkey, provided that German is taught at the Turkish school (in German).
