The Founder

Ulf Mann contributed his entire assets to the foundation.

The founding group had stipulated in the statutes that he should be entitled to a pension in accordance with BAT 1a. He never claimed this for himself and waived it completely in 2014.

Ulf Mann was involved in the establishment up the foundation and was also a member of the first Board of Trustees (as a representative of two working groups), but resigned after six months. He remained a member of the Africa working group until 1996, but then withdrew completely from serving to the foundation. He was associated with the foundation until his death, for one thing because he lived in the apartment building he contributed to the foundation until the end of his life.
