Our structure
Approximately fifty people work for the Foundation in various decision–making capacities (in working groups, on the Steering Committee and on the Board of Trustees). They all have other occupations and work for Umverteilen! on a volunteer basis. This means that it can sometimes take a while for applications to be processed and for decisions to be made. On the other hand, we tend to not be very bureaucratic.
Two paid employees are responsible for implementing decisions and taking care of administrative matters, bookkeeping and communication. The Foundation maintains its own offices in Berlin–Schöneberg with regular office hours.
The working groups and committees can be reached only through our office.
